CP 8755 & CP 8546 are leading a short but 100% intermodal CP 143 which is stopped at Dorval, waiting for the conductor to get on board before departing.

CP 8755 is the rear DPU on eastbound coal train 840 (empties) headed into Revelstoke for a crew change. The train is descending Eagle Pass at Clanwilliam just west of town.

One of my favorite locations. CP 8755 leads 23G under the now-closed McMullin Bridge just west of Marion. It won't be long before the Conrail 8098 crests the hill to glide into Marion as the DPU. ... (more)
